LeeRoy - we use those carling switches at work, and they look tidy enough in a truck, but they're way to chunky for a celica..

Kroozerdave - I know of a jag wrecker not far from here, i might check them out... i bought some map reading lamps 'cause i though i might use them... but probably won't now

I like the small Jaycar toggle switches with the flattened lever , a very good qaulity switch and look good. Maybe Carl could find a pic of one.

anyway, why not use a magnetic switch under the carpet and add the magnet for it to your keyring? jump in the car, wave the magnet in the right place then insert key and turn
    Good Idea.

I dont quite understand how a magnet switch would work, Example I wave the magnet over it for a metal part inside to move toward the magnet and connect 2 wires. Then wont it be hard to break the circuit? Wont I have to try and wave the magnet in a certain way so the metal inside moves and disconnects the 2 wires.
