Smile EGR system on the POO

i have just finished rebuilding my 7M Poo..and plan on ommiting the EGR system.
Main reason being: dont like exaust gases in my intake.

I know the ECU is going to throw an error 71...what are the issues performance and from day to day running this will cause.

I will be leaving the VSV pluged in and all, the only thing i doing is to block the exhaust port.

    cheers

Blocked mine around 9 months ago & it has not thrown any codes or negatively affected performance.

it recirculates some of the exhaust gases to be reburned, it was done for emmission reasons, it probably does effect power a bit but actual figures who knows. more than likely its all filled up with carbon by now anyways.
