Default MX83 Cressida Heater Won't Blow

Since converting my MX83 to 1ggte the Heater has stopped blowing air, I have checked the two wiring diagrams I've got but I cannot figure it out.

the heater controls themselves still work, I can hear the electric motors working when I select face/feet/defog etc. But nothing happens when I use the fan speed switch

I completely removed the A/C from the car, not sure whether that should have any effect on the heater fan though.

    Any help would be appreciated.

there is a little black thing that screws into the outlet of the fan under the pax side footwell.

it is the fan speed controller and it will have 3 coils, one for each fan speed (i think). if this is broken, wired wrong or the wrong type then you will only get one fan speed.

its not hard to remove it will have an electrical plug going to it. make sure the coild still have the glue to keep each individual coil from touching or try to replace it.

Cheers for that. I don't have any fan at all atm.
If i find the coils to be alright should I check if there's power to that unit?

Its not the little black box in this pic on the right of the loom?

    yea thats the one.

    it controls the fan speed.

i think that for whatever speed you select, a current will run through a different size coil (you will seethe coils when u remove it) and the airflow cools it or something to keep the fan speed right. fir the highest setting it doesnt run through a coil the fan just runs full bore. so the fastest setting should still work even if there is a problem with the speed controller ( i think)

I plugged that connector back in but I still haven't got a heater?
I checked for any voltage in all for wires plus the ones going to the blower motor, at all settings on the fanspeed. Is there a fuse for the heater? If there is I can't find it.

The heater is controlled by the water flowing through it? Do you have the car running and warmed up?

Most fan systems have a blower resissiter (?spelling?) , i remember when i was working in mitsubishi spares it was quite a common item to be replaced , sounds like the "black plastic thing" that PlacentaJuan was talking about

The heater itself works fine, I can feel the temperature change when operating the hot/cold switch. I just don't have a fan to push the air around. I can also see the fresh/recirc motors working with my glovebox out.

I have but I can't see any fuses physically or in a diagram directly relating to the blower.

Let me know how you go?

I will check that but I don't think its the problem considering none of the wires have any power at all.

I just had a quick look, and fuses are ok. Looks like ill be tracing it from scratch from this diagram:
    http://conceptual.net.au/~peewee/wir...ical%2010a.jpg

From that diagram, who knows where the Heater Relay and other stuff is?
