Each coil will have 2 outputs for leads. Terminal wise there will be 2 terminals on each coil with the bigger terminal usually being positive (+) but just double check to be sure.

Now you need to wire them so they fire on probably 1 and 6, 3 and 4, then 2 and 5. Double check this though by looking up the 1jz firing order cause i dont know it.

Then, wire positive to all positive terminals via a fuse, and run each ground to the corresponding pin on the microtech. For the first coil that does cylinder 1 and 6, that will go to ignition #1 on the microtech and so on. I'm a bit hazy here but im pretty sure they get wired into firing order not numerical cylinder arangement - someone please confirm.

    Other than that, good luck.

Edit: Youll only use 3 of the microtechs ignition output, whereas you would use all 6 if you ran individual coil packs.

No. AFAIK you need a Haltech E11v2, Autronic SM4 or Motec to do VVTi.

vvti is over rated. grant warnes cr had an haltech on it set up by haltech themselves and it still never functioned correctly and had a 1000rpm worse lag with 2 small twins thatn my GT42R with big rear housing did.

buy another 3 coils and use sequential spark. the small outlay will be worth it.
