Default Oily stuff in my coolant.

Just flushed my cooling system with some system cleaner, refilled and noticed this stuff in the system -

Just did a comp check all between 160 - 165.

Flushed the system again and it's still there.

Is it just shit in the system or should i be worried.

could be... but do a leakdown / TK if you can... as there is no reason for shit to exist in the cooling system..

i had the same thing.. car was running fine etc etc... noticed something strange in the cooling system when i went did a check, and yea TK later turned out to be exhaust in the coolant...

Leak down says ok, flushe the system about 5 times and gave it an oil change for good measure - checking Coolant each time - looks like it was just shit in the system.

All is good running cool and sounds good. Thanks.

I had a small leak in the transmission cooler (in the radiator) that was leaving the smallest amount of tranny fluid in the coolent but enough for me to check everything else before the cooler. I guess thats my lessen for having a auto without a big tranny cooler.
