    Default Wolf 3D version 4

    i have installed the above ecu in my vehicle which has in an ae101 4agze. However the ignitor is getting very hot and the rev counter is flickering constantly does anyone have and idea what is wrong

    What kind of coil driver are you using? I've got M&W (http://www.mwignitions.com/) and wiring both of them up I havn't had a problem.

    The wolf itself cannot drive the coil, you need to use a driver. So it goes BAT -> COIL -> Driver -> ECU. The schematics off Wolf's website should help.

    The car has on the standard toyota 4agze ignitor

    I don't know how the 4AGZE ignitor works. How I've set mine up is:

    +ve on to one post of the coil
    the second coil post to the ignitor coil output
    ignitor grounded
    Wolf Ignition trigger connected to the ignitor.

    its my understanding that the wold has an adjustable dwell time for the coil and it will make things hot if its turned up too much
