    Default Is stoneguard / bashplate for 28 required RWC?

    Am i likely to need to install the stoneguard / bashplate thing in order to register or engineer my 28 with 1G? I have never fitted it and am wondering if i should bother or not. Any advantages?
    RA28, 1GGTE, Gen 3.

    Lots of them no longer have it, I suspect they wont notice.

    You may or may not get better airflow/cooling with the plate in place. A friend of mine had overheating issues on track days before he refitted his stone tray. After refitting, the problem disappeared.

    For rego, I wouldn't expect it to be an issue of it is not fitted.

    Mine has never had it Mate, so experience says you should be fine

    helps with airflow through radiator, but my ta22 never had one, had no effect on RWC
    2T out 4A in....

    4A out 3VZ in. 3vzfe rebuild, RWD-ising, and conversion for ta22
