    Default Triggering Taco

Need some electronics help. The Taco output from my Microtech MTX8 is only providing a steady 5.7 volt output. It was configued by Microtech some 4 years ago and put in the car then. The taco did not work at the time - I thought it may have been a wiring problem by me. The car has been in a container for the past 4 years as I have been overseas. I have just put my mind to sorting out the problem.

Initial contact with microtech has been less than positive. Even if they were to fix it, based on past experience I would be waiting some time.

What I would like to do is trigger it from one of the injector drivers. There are 3 still, as one was reconfigured as an auxilially output. Now I understand that the injector triggers switch to earth which give a falling voltage that my tach (ra23 - recalibrated, and the GA70 tacho out of the half cut) do no seems to want to work with. Could some kind sole let me know if there is a box on the market that would solve my problem or could some one provide me with a wiring diagram and component list so that I could visit Jaycar and construct something.

    Cheers Craig
