MX13 diff is an 3.9:1 F series - will handle the power no probs. Plenty of different ratios but I suggest you get it going, see how it drives and then pick a more suitable ratio. LSDs are out there.

Which Cressida box? Speedo cable, need to know which box! You might find that a 90 degree angle from an MA61 will help with curves and space. Cross member - you could use the one that came from the auto or an MX13 one. Bolt two bits of thick angle iron to extend backwards and bolt cross member to those.

7M will have 4 or 5 wires that need power - the power required to those wires will either be full time, ignition on or starter on. You splice those wires from the MX10 loom. Wiring diagram is your friend.

Alternator wiring will be different (internal reg versus external reg) so you'll need to sort that out too. There is a thread outlining how to do that so search.

what series diff is the mx13 diff that you've put in?

have you looked at getting a tape measure out for the cross members?

edit: holy crap time warp... it took me 30 mins to post that?!

The hardest part of any conversion is getting the balls to man up and actual begin the conversion.

Once you've starting ripping shit out and there is no turning back you'll find the conversion gets easier and more enjoyable.

Apart from bolting a 5M in, 7MGTE is the easiest conversion you can do.

The engine bolts in. Gearbox crossmember takes less than an hour. You measure shit up and get the tailshaft shortened. If you have an uncut loom and can read a map, wiring is a piece of piss. Fuel system is a cinch.

There's fuck all room for an intercooler but if you look at Farkunell's RB20 MX10 (in the for sale section), you'll see all the bits of trim have been spaced forward to make room.

Hardest bit is working out how to get it to hook up and do 13s.

If it's all too hard, I suggest you buy the aforementioned MX10. It's a bargain.

You'll fit a 450x300x76 one with a little grille spacing. (I'll get some pics up when i'm back on the weekend)
Can't pick mine, except for the massive dose
The rb20 one has a mix of mx13 bonnet & headlamp grilles.

Hooking up is a huge problem, with a 1jz the rear end snaps loose in 4th gear @ only 7psi.
I need to have some springs made, kings & average shocks are causing quite a lot of axle tramp.

Honestly, bolting the 7m in is only 10% of the job. You'll have a lot of things to sort out.
I'd be seriously looking at whether you have the motivation, capabilities & finances on hand.

    Cheers
    Phil

Maybe a 5M with a MTEU turbo on it running on straight LPG with a points dizzy will be much more easy for you . Its a good learning exercise this way and very straight foward for you . If you didnt want LPG just use a simple stromburg carby.
