1JZ VVTI Bov electrical ticking Noise?

Hi, all I have Just got my 1JZ VVTI running in my JZA80 Supra. From a JZX100

Everything worked first go amazingly except for a small problem i am having with the Factory Blow off valve. When the electrical plug is in it makes a fairly loud constant ticking noise that concerns me. From the Blue/green electricals bhind the valve not the vlave itself.

I think the pace of the tick was increasing with the RPM as well but it was hard to tell, from memory it was unplugged when i bought the 1/2 cut, the blow off valve seams to be working fine other when its plugged in. I don't think any of the BOV wiring was altered during the conversion well from memory, but there was a lot of wiring.

I left it unplugged for a drive but i'm not one all the flutter noises can the pluming be rerouted to avoid the electrics? there are three Vac lines going to it. Or Should i just install the dual port turbo smart BOV i have here as a plum back would prefer to keep it looking stock.

Any thoughts/Ideas? Other than bagging 1J's over 2J's

Are you sure the BOV is ticking?

The BOV shouldn't have any electrical connection to it...

I think its a VSV or solinoid or something of the likes in the vac line that goes to the Bov. Its directly behind it. Maybe a sensor of some type, will have a look though the EPC and make sure. ad get a pic.

Nah its coming from the green part and is not present when its plugged in.
