Running out of light which means taking photos will be a challenge, but I'm fine with 4pm.

    FUCKING HELL.

My mate was playing with Chubbs in the backyard yesterday and today he cannot walk.

He is miserable and in pain, now I need to take him to the vet, again, due to some-one else 'playing' with him.

This will be the 6th time this has happened, he's never been injured when I play with him..

kiss goodbye another $2-300.. Nark he is not able to play at all and will probably be down and out for a few weeks..

They have to accrew enough for nose reconstructions as well as feeding his mime family. The dont talk much so they never need much water for their dry mouths.

    Bugger. That sux.

    What's the problem?

Gumby you still up for it or would it just be better to postpone till a later date?

I'm probably thinking to postpone. I had issues yesterday with the head unit install in the MX-5 so I wouldn't mind the extra time to sort everything out.

6 times Tom! What does "playing" with chubbs normally involve? Swinging a length of 4x2 at him by the sound of things......

Hope its just something simple, I know i've just about funded the superannuation of vets for retirement at times it seems.... If only pets could just tell you what's wrong

    Cheers

Yeah, I looked into it when Garfield was getting on in years.

The RSPCA one seemed the most comprehensive from what I remember.

I'm assuming nothing went on yesterday?

I was stuck at home painting and crawling around in the roof at our place and didn't finish until 8pm so my day was a write-off.

My missus took our dog out for a 15km run so he still got plenty of exercise yesterday at least.

I'll fill out the poll today when I get a chance.

Sucks to hear about Chubbs, does he ever throw his back out playing with other dogs or just people?

    hi guys,

just happens when playing with people and I never see it happen, I just have to deal with the aftermath.

Tom reckons he accidently 'kicked' chubbs when they were playing.. its his back right leg. He's been miserable all weekend, no wagging tail, no moving at all.. some kngsleys chips n gravy mixed with his biscuits cheered him up a little last night and he wagged his tail this morn when I said goodbye to him so he's feeling a little better, if not sorry for himself.

The vet said he'd be fine, but again stressed that we must be careful as chubbs has a big soid body and little chicken legs that must support it.
    Stupid mates.

Certainly won't help things when Chubbs gets kicked like one of Indias finest stitched soccerballs.

Glad to hear the Chubbs is ok Tom... I know exactly how you feel...

I had a mate of a mate (I didn't know him very well) come round started playing with Havoc... I hear a yelp, Havoc comes limping into my bedroom with blood all down her leg... 6 stiches later and a part shaven dog... all is well...

At least your mate admitted to the accident... Mine reckoned "Nothing happened"
