    Default jerkyness under load

okay, non toyota question but basics should still apply.
    its an auto magna.
basically under reasonable load the car stutters like a serious misfire.
most of the ignition stuff has been replaced.

It also hesitates to downshift and it makes a few nasty clunks sometimes when slowing down coming up to a set of lights, leading me to think its the transmission.

i dont know shit about auto boxes.

anyone throw up some possibilites, or point me in the right direction...

    much appreciated,
    Chris

    Engine mounts
    Gearbox mounts

As they say about autos, the majority of problems are fluid related - so check the trans fluid level

Also could be the bands in the trans, or many other things. How many KMs on the car, how old is it, what's been modified etc...
