Where there early RA28's in 76? If so I didn't know that, I just though they where 77.Originally Posted by bigmat

Sorry guy's, should have added some sort of description:
White LED's used for reverse
Red LED's used for parker/brake
Orange LED's used for indicators
The reason I didn't use white for the whole lot was because:
White LED's on the red parker/brake lens looks orange
White LED's on the orange indicator lens looks yellow
I will need to buy a lux meter and measure the brightness with different resistor combinations and series/parallel connections.

ill send you mine
damn i was gonna mess around and see if i could do the exact same thing in the exact same pattern.....i guess great minds think alike. does this mean your goin back to the original (75) tailights on ur 22 fonz? i would be keen on these lights for my daily
yeah these will go on my ta22 but not the black one. The black one will have its own 'flat all red LED tail lights' design which will be compatible with the flat and amber indicator version too.
Old School Jap1, I plan to do away with the original globes on the TA22 and replace the whole lot ie: front parkers under the front bar amber LED's for GT and white for standard, amber LED front corner indicators and amber LED fender indicators. You might want to get started on these.
I'll have to go hunting for 23/28 lenses so I could do the same.

thanks fellas, will update with more pics when I get more LED's working.
I'm with you on that one, I swapped my dash bulbs to LED's (refer to pic):Originally Posted by TA22RE
It made the gauges brighter and made it a lot more whiter but it didn't look right, there was something about it that upset the atmosphere in the cabin. The reason was it takes away the 'old school' feel especially in a car with twin carburetors hanging of the side. Ever since then I swapped them back to bulbs.
As you all know, Toyfest is coming up, which is a good reason to spruce things up with the celica's.
