All Hiluxes and Hiaces have G series diffs. The IFS 4wd hiluxes have a F series in the front and g series in the rear
What year model hilux dose the G series diff come out of, and are they a 4x4 diff or out of the 2x4 models?

Jealousy is a curse
So the year model makes no difference then ?
There are actually quite a few differences that will be important for you specifically number of studs and length.
If this is for a TA22 you'll be wanting hte shortest diff you can get which is an RN2* 2wd diff from early 70's which is 1370mm wide with 5 stud axles. The 4wd axles are 6 stud. If you're going to have 4 stud wheels then the 4wd axles are actually easier to convert bt getting short enough ones isn't so easy.
Also the later diff housings are nicer with thicker tubes and oil baffles that the RN2* diffs lack.
Thanks bud,
I will need to get them cut down so i may as well use the 4wd diff and try to get a deeper dish on the simmons
