if RA60 ps arms don't work on MA61 struts, how come an RA60 strut works on the MA61 p/s arm?
that's my current setup and after driving the GTR i need quicker steering.... so i just need to bang on some ra65 ps arms

 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
Thanks Matt, you know you want to do it on the white one!
I had the front up on stands tonight working on a few different things and turned the steering to full lock and took a step back to look at it from the front and thought, gee theres tonnes of lock! I already knew this but hadn't quite visualised it like this. Was going to take a picture but it was raining. And then i forgot when it stopped becuase i got carried away disembling and re-assembling brake master cylinders... I'll take a picture on monday and post it up.

 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
thought id dig up an old thread, just bought some sa63 struts
anyone know if i can run just the sa63 struts and not worry about the ps arms? and still get neg camber?
 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
you should still get the camber because thats caused by the strut and stub angle.
 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
Yea you get camber. I didn't bother with the arms and just used the struts.

 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
Are the MA61 and RA65 arms the same bolt pattern for the steering arm to strut interface? It looks like the picture which Ryley has made the RA65 is 170mm between holes, and the MA61 is 190mm. Although that could just be where its been mislabeled.

 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
just noticed that too, there's a pic in the very first post by negativeboost showing the differences, maybe you do need to fit the 65 steering arms????
 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
Yea it was mislabeled. Bolt holes are 90mm apart for both '65 and '61. It's the total length that is different. Like I said before, I am using MA61 arms with '65 struts.

 Re: MA61 - RA65 Struts & Powersteering Arms conversion
				toyodiy shows MA61/RA65/RT142/MZ11
as the same part
which in reality. its not. at all.
