you don't need one - but having a CAMS 2s licence means you don't have to buy a Wakefield "Club Comp" licence, which costs ~$60 from memory.

Think it went up with everything else. And no way will anyone be chancing swapping licences or some such; no-one wants to be in a situation where you've voided everyone's insurance and are hurtling around in a 1200kg lump out there with us.

Just get a L2S and do some hillclimbs/motorkhana too. Or the wakefield club comp is valid for 12 months so you get some use out of it.

Life time ban too if caught messing around with licensing for the day including swapping wrist bands.....so not worth it.

and really, if you can't afford the $50 for the wakefield licence, then you sure as shit can't afford the fuel, tyres, and other things burnt/worn/damaged in the course of a track day

LMAO, I did try to sound sarcastic with the "borrow" thing. Anywho that is def loud and clear on that one, and i totally agree i wouldnt bother even if he was to offer it as like you said i would hate for someone to lose anything over a mear $50 odd.

I have been to wakefield before and yes then it was $50 and it did last a year. I would honestly pay more for a 12mth one. I just checked mine and it ran out on the 3rd of aug so not much wasted really.

At the end of the day im only gonna be out there warming the track for all you guys as i can't drive for sheeeeet

Sweet, now i just have to finish my ambitious list of tweaks
    new spring front
    front springs to rear
    find some castor adjustment
    camber pins
    roll guards some more
    wheel alignment
    new inlet manifold (plus tune)
    full spool diff (unlikely)

oh, we're starting the "to be done" lists already?

    mine's easy

    Surge tank + lifter pump
    helmet
new rear tyres to get me down there
possibly new rims + slicks of my own (if I'm feeling rich after my rear tyres and surge tank)
random other things that will occur to me once I start fiddling

I could fit the adjustable exhaust cam gear I have, and some bigger injectors and a few more psi of boost but really, I can't handle the power it's putting out now

    My list:

*Sard fuel pressure regulator and speco fuel pressure gauge to replace the Malpassi unit.
*Rear disc brake conversion. S13 Silvia rear discs (new), AE82 calipers (to be rebuilt with new kits and paint), fabricate caliper mounting bracket.
    *Fit adjustable brake proportioning valve.
    *Fit hydraulic handbrake.
*Fit new brake lines from the master cylinder to the rear calipers.
*Lower shock mounts are being relocated 10mm inwards each side on the diff housing for better shock location.
*Axle tube to diff centre housing interface is having the plugs welds redone (two of the factory plug welds had failed) and extra weld around the axle tube added to increase strength.
*Sparco SprintV seat to be fitted to the passenger side to match the drivers seat (yet to be purchased).
*Oil pump and sump to be removed and refitted (oil weeping from oil pump to block interface, has been for a long time but finally decided to sort it out).
*Tunnel/floorpan being enlarged for better diff clearance.
*Purchase 4 new tyres (Toyo R1R's),
*Purchase and fit heavier rate Eibach springs for the front end.
    *Wheel alignment.

New camber tops hopefully on by then.

No doubt a few more things will surface between now and then.
