had a great day out, topped off by my car (not me driving) cranked out a 1:09.71. In current setup it's definitely got a 1:08 in it... with some better brakes and a front sway bar (as well as a few minor tweaks) 1:07 should be no problem at all.

Now all I need to do is learn how to drive it that fast

Yes, another great day out.
Wish I'd actually brought the lap timer instead of leaving it just inside the front door
I was lapping about the same as one of the Mirages & the red Z at one point, which was around 1:17

I've got a lot to learn about driving this car. It's completely different to the last one. Braking, turn in, acceleration points, how much throttle.

Plus I've certainly found the weak points of the stock chassis.
Every-bloody-thing!

Once those are fixed & if I keep using the same sized tyres (smaller by around 7%), then I'm going to need to fit that speed limit remover...

considering he has only bolted in a set of Teins and fitted tyres i doubt it would be very hard at all. whether he could ever do those times is another thing

best of 1:15.29 in the cruncholla, not bad considering the lack of setup time. theoretical best would be a 1:14.6 according to Roundy's gps.

Scared myself a tad with that spin off the end of the straight when i touched the brakes at the kink doing well over 200kph with the car not yet straight...stoopid. I backed off after that and 1:07's were done with only a 188kph top speed (nearly 20kph down on the last track day). More time to come off my lap times yet

BTW GoPro worked OK so should have some incar vid for you next week.
