AE71 T50 oil capacity?

just a quick question...
How much gear oil do i need to put into an AE71 gearbox?
what are people's preference with brand/weight?

before the usual onslaught, yes i tried the FAQ and google.
i cant be assed readed maybe 50 pages of text to find out.

hey m8

i cant remember exactly how much they take but i think ts around 2-2.5 ltrs.
all you do is fill it up untill the oil comes back out of the filler plug.

use a full synthetic oil around 75w

i have been using valvoline dura gear

My friend put one of these little fooker in his hachi with his 4age transplant, gearbox took 1.7ltrs, or as explained earlier, till it runs out of the fill hole.

Redline shockproof oil is one of the better oils on the market atm, bloody expensive thou.
