Default 1991 Toyota Celica ST183 Convertible troubles

Hi Guys Im posting for a friend here..... Below is his post.

    1991 Toyota Celica ST183 Convertible

    Hey guys,

    I have a little problem....ok it's a big problem.

I had a new exhaust fitted on friday and then on saturday I installed me new 2600watt amp and subs etc.....

Now while I am driving sometimes my engine randomly turns off. I don't know what this is? It use to Idle at just under 1 (600-700) now it Idles at umm it looks like Zero but that can't be right, prob around 100-200.

Does anybody know what this could be? I'm gonna unplug the amp tonight and see what that does, and if that's not it I'm gonna try turning the Idle up.

    Any Suggestions?

    Thanx.

    [UPDATE]

Ok, so I was going crazy at my desk so at lunch I pulled the power from the amp and went for a drive around the beach and it idles at approx 100.....didn't turn off, but I'm gonna drive around for a day or 2 with it off and see it if keeps switching off.

what kind/size of exhaust was fitted 3" cat back?

nothing been unplugged while amp wiring was put in?
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are
