Sam, I have a 4ac in the shed. If you let me know where the sensor is, I'll try putting a thread guage over it.
Cheers

top water pipe flange on the front left of the engine head, if you could do that it would be great
Will try to tonight.
I had someone on ae86dc measure it for me, apparently its M16 x 1.5 and just for the record the ecu probe I measured myself and seems to be 1/2" UNC, odd combination.
Thanks anyway
It should be 1/8NPT. The switch for the thermofans is M16x1.5
My 4AC one was 1/8NPT anyway.

Sorry Sam, I haven't been home. I remember that the intake temp probe on my 3s motor is M16x1.5
I have confirmed the specs of all the sensors:
ecu temp sensor: 1/4 npt
dash temp sesnor: 3/8 npt
thermofan sensor switch: 16mm

Interesting, mine was 100% 1/8NPT, as it bolted straight into the 4AGE although there could have been an adaptor on the head which i didnt notice when i pulled it.
