Justin it might pay to have a look at the club's website re club rego. Our process has changed a little bit to try and cope with the increased level of interest, as well as weed out some some what dodgy requests I have been fielding.
Tate I will send you a form if I remember when I get home.. if it doesn't lob, email me to remind me
I will put it on the website shortly too.
I spoke to Clifford Monday regarding Club Plates. He informed my that I needed to downloads and fill out the appropriate forms from the Vicroads website (which i've done) and that if the car had a current Roadworthy Certificate that he didn't have to inspect it. The Corolla I bought on the weekend came with a RWC and the Crown will have one either tomorrow or Monday. Then it was just a matter of bringing the Vicroads paperwork with the RWC's to the club meeting to get them signed off.
What else do I need to know about??

Cars need pre-approval from the Committee now to take the onus off Cliff in making the decision of whether a car is appropriate for club rego. To that end, we want photos and various details to ensure we have an accurate database of cars that are on club rego with TCCA and there is a form that each applicant has to fill out agreeing to our requirements for any one running under our banner. In short, we need to know what mods the car has.
Cars are also approved only in the condition as they stand at the time of being signed off. If you plan on making mods - which I assume you do with the Corolla, but have no idea as I haven't seen the car - then we will need to know about those before the car is modded.
In your instance, I don't see any problems with the Crown as it stands so it will just be a matter of getting the paperwork and photos.
With the Corolla, we will need to know your plans, which will be just a matter of discussion on Tuesday night. Again I don't see it being an issue but it will need a discussion first.
I didn't realise that, Clifford didn't mention it to me.
So can you send me said pre-approval paperwork? The Crown is currently out of rego and and the Corolla is stock as a rock down to the original hubcaps that i'm planning to transplant a 20v into and strip part the interior for some track duties.

Process has only changed in the last week so that will be the reason Cliff didn't mention it.
Corolla mods should be fine, we can discuss the details Tuesday.
I will forward you the forms.
Cheers mate. I'll wait for your e-mail.
I'd like to try and get them both signed off on Tusesday if that's possible.
