You're going to have the same dizzy headache with a 7AFE too, its mounted at the back of the head like a 20v 4AGE
I want to do your engine conversion wiring for you, PM me.

Yeah thats why you will want to go the 4age head, aswell as being able to buy a rwd format 4age (jdm). If your not looking at heaps of power go the simplest way.

Default A less common 4A-> RWD swap...

    Hey guys

Lots of planning and thinking involved but the end result is that I'm looking at putting a FWD 4AFC (AE92) into RWD.

Most conversions detail changes to 4AGE variants so I thought I'd ask the questions to avoid any unforseen headaches (eg. I know that the 7AFE and the 20v 4AGE have the dizzy off the back of the head).

So, 4AFC... sump good for RWD into a KE10? Cooling system changes the same as 4AGEs? Anything else before I spend money?

    DAMN.

After a fair bit of searching (apparently noone with a 4AFC takes a picure under their bonnet) I found a pic and it looks like they have the distributor in the wrong place too.

I had settled on the 4AFC for a number of reasons - cheap, available, carby so no changes to fuel system, minimal wiring to be done, no efi manifold pointing the wrong way, simple carby top to turn around and bang it all looks factory.

But this Dizzy thing is a pain in the ****.
