Try getting a freaking meat ball black flag!!!!!

i cant believe i got the black flag. The story was i was hurtling down the straight at 206km/h and i got flagged. So i pull over after turn 1, thinking that im dropping fluid...... they shut down the session (sorry guys) then the recovery dude comes around to me and says:

dude: "we had reports that you kept comming off the track, do you have a mechanical fault?"

me: "umm no, i didnt even go off the track, maybe a tiny bit after a tank slapping session"

dude: "well we had reports that you kept going off and throwing rocks onto the track. How bout winding it back a notch"

    me" yeah whatever"

WTF!@@!@!@@! I was so freaking pissed off. That is the biggest bullshit out. You try and drive this thing harder you tool bag. I wouldnt be surprised if it was the porch-boys having a sook. Or maybe that blue lotus i kept spanking down the straight.! muhahahaha. fucker.

No one with an exotic would like being passed or even kept up with by a mustard, busted and rusted shopping cart driven by some Western Sydney bogan.

    I love your work

Sounds like it was a good, warm though??

Trackdays have to be up there as one of the best things ever! Pics look great, any funny incidents?

    Were there any crashes?

Haha, yeah its a great place to see how good or bad a car handles without the worry of hitting a pedestrian.

I did a couple of track days in SA, was a load of fun, I see the next one is on the 28th of Jan Should give me time to sort out some wheels and tyres for my little mr2!

so glad to hear everyone enjoyed it!!! I had a ball!!

cuzzo, i was impresed with your car!! and yeah, i dont think all the guys with their european cars appreciated being thrashed - i thought it was great

Great to meet a lot of you!! Bit sad that there were so many breakages....but i guess this is where you find out how your car goes

Thanks to Dennis/Grim - i love my car!!! I am so impressed with how hard you can push it and it just keeps going...brilliant!! At least you know that the car you have actually worked on goes extremly well....just a shame you were driving something else.....finish the celica!!!

Scott - as previously mentioned, it is JPM photographics. I have got pics from them before and they were good. I just got a disk and got the ones i liked printed

thank you Daniel/evo65m for saving my day with wheels!!!! Really appreciate it!

Think i may run another one in the new year if everyone is keen - probably wont be until about march or april tho - think a few of us have some work to do and some money to save before we can do another day

Was everyone happy with it being run through Driving Solutions? I thought it was run really well!! and having instructors was a great help!!

Yes that bloody audi!!! He would hold you for laps at a time and then move over and hold it pinned so my 180sx running 5psi (Safety setting for a track day) couldnt pass let alone lindens powerhouse! the R32 golf couldnt/wouldnt pass him so i made my move after getting sick to death of his arrogance! He did however find his rearview mirror and give me the 1 finger salute after scraping my knuckles on his number plate! anyhow how can you drive a RS4 that freakin slow?????????

linden, cuzzo and i had a ball with those porches... even though my car had a speed limiter we still lapped those freaks

Couple of still shots to follow (taken from incar vid)

ive been wanting to go back to the track ever since i left! messy throw my name down as a definate for the next one for sure!

it was pretty good being run thru driving solutions...ultra organised and the grub wasnt too bad. my only grip about the whole day was the temperature, i had to keep coming in koz the temp needle kept getting very close to the "im going to have to pull this engine apart if it goes any further" zone....hopefully its a bit cooler next time

absolute awsome day messy!, put me down for a spot for the next one!....

1st time out on eastern creek for me, and i loved every second of it!....

i only had one issue suprisingly, the 1g spat the water/alt belt off and let the temp run to 120deg before the ecu failsafe kickd in and said limp it back to the pits......(that was on turn 2....it made the rest of the track back to the pits on 120 deg ).....threw the belt back on and went out again,

ive put the car specs thru the norbie.net speed calulator and its saying at 7200rpm in 4th gear i was pulling 228ks down the straight ....how accurate that is i dont know, as my speedo was just cracking the 205 sorta mark before jumpng on the anchors to bout 160 for turn 1......which i had a few hairy moment on......but damn i love that corner once i got my lines sorted out!

and i hope you had you camera filming cuzzo when we had our little battle!....which was a mad dash between us!

top day out...definately my best track day ive done, and cant wait for the next!

    cheers, Blake
