MGCC Ironman event 1st - 3rd august

This weekend the MGCC are hosting their 33rd Ironman weekend this weekend.
The event consists of a friday night nav run, Sprints and Motorkhana @ QR on sat then a hillclimb on sunday.
Yes it is a full on weekend of racing but its a sh#t load of fun.
There is about 50-60 competitors for the sprints on sat and 110 for the hillclimb on sun.
Is anyone here going along for a run or to spectate?

I will be running my WRX and hoping to go 1 better than i have for the last 2 years where i have been 2nd behind a GT3 Porsche.

Ironman..? I was gonna rub lard all over myself and sign up but now I see its something far better.

i was ment to be in this as well, but im at warwick and then leyburn this month and the racing budget would not streatch to a third event for the month :-(

Broke an engine on the 2nd lap of the 1st session
Car was flying though.
I managed on the 1 flying lap that i did a 61.17 on the clubman circuit.
the car would have easily done a 59.

So again i finished 2nd to the bloody porsche by 2secs.
A mate let me drive his 07 STI for the rest of the weekend.
