digging this up. with the capacitors on the ecu's, can they be fubbar'd with no leaking or visible signs like whats pictured above?

Generally they bulge or leak, but they can dry out with no visible evidence of a defect.

IMO, they should be changed if there is even a shadow of a doubt. It certainly won't hurt performance.
