My Mum's Camry has got a seatbelt which is pretty well shagged, in that it won't wind up again at all, and has no tension in it. First question is, can you just get a winder assembly or do you need to get a whole new seatbelt? Secondly, can you buy a second hand seatbelt? (it's an SV20 camry, so there's a whoooole lotta them around)Thirdly, if you can't buy one second hand, where would you pick up a new seatbelt for one? Is there a standard seatbelt or is it a Camry particular part? If the latter, will the shop know from the model name, or will they need a part number?
Finally, will the seatbelt be easy to switch over?
It can be dodgy buying a seatbelt seconhand as you dont know the history of it and it may have been stressed after being in a major accident.
try giving this place a ring and see if they have a replacement. They are very good.
