the only reason for the brand name parts is the backing from a local shop down here....im getting a good full cage welded in once i have sorted out the rest of the componentry, as some of it may effect how "full" the cage will be....

I dont get this. the first thing i would do is build my cage to the meximum extent allowed in catagory. that way if the car isallowed to movemounting point you can know if there is any benefit in it.. trust me race 2 of the same car one with all the suspention mounting points tied into the cage and one without the is considerable gains in using the cage as bracing
hence why i need to sort out the componentry first
i am still tossing up on whether im going to move the upper trailing arms to directly above the lowers, and convert to a full coilover rear...thats why the cage is being done once i have sorted those few things out
