JZ80 supra diff info?

Hi guys, a quick from a mate of mine regarding diff gears in JZ80s.

Do the JZ80s share a diff series with any other cars? (eg ma70, aristo etc?)

Are there 3.9s and 3.7 ratios available?

They are interchangable with UZZ and JZZ soarers. The Aristos have different three prong drive connectors. V8 has 3.9 ratio JZZ twin turbo has 4.08 Aristo twin turbo has 3.77

Early TT JZA80's have the giant mofo B series diff which isn't compatible with anything I've heard of, but the rest have an A series which has internals compatible with most RWD Toyotas starting from the early 90's.

Just because Toyota write an a series number on the build plate does not mean it is the same size as the next Toyota with an A series diff.

Cheers-the only thing we're concerned about is gears-(we're looking to put different gears in the existing centre), so the the series is the relevant thing.
