    GA61 has analogue too, still needs the old relay, transistor and diode circuit to get rid of that nasty 5v square wave, and make it a 12v sine wave

    It's not a sine wave... *sigh*.... and it's about 40V and not 12... *sigh* again... A 5V squarewave is way more elegant and refined than a nasty 40V spike.
    (The nasty relay and transistor circuits spit out something ridiculous, in the order of hundreds of V...)

    thanks for all the info from everyone

    it seems my dash tacho was out

    actually shows 500-700 rpm more then rev cut in 1st
