96 Degrees F, thats what is written on mine, that converts to 35.6 Celcius
My Temp sits cruising stable on the second notch, not the red one the one before it.
Hi all,
RWD 4A-C
can anyone tell me what temperature the thermostat on a 4A-C opens at?
Can anyone tell me what voltage the temperature sensor should read at 'normal' engine temperature and what position on the dash temp gauge the needle points to at that voltage?
Cheers

I think I cannot read the writing correctly
should open around 87 Degress C
Thanks mikey,
that's a start - will test my thermocouple meter and thermostat tomorrow.
My gauge barely gets to the first line. Methinks this engine is running too cold and possibly why the choke is sluggish to release.
The hot air inlet thingy on the air filter inlet doesn't seem to have the customary flex tube to exhaust manifold area.
Can anyone tell me the specs of the Temp sensor?
