Personally, in order of ease of work and performace level.
For a road car that can be used for track days and supersprints:
step 1) Good pads EBC or Ferodo, braided lines and good fluid.
step 2) Then I would swap to DBA 4000 series rotors as a straight replacement. DBA4560SL and DBA4560SR.
or) Find a bigger diameter rotor of the same width, the DBA catalogue has all the dimensions of all rotors they make. Then make an adaptor bracket to move the OEM four spot calipers out. A ten millimetre increase in diameter makes a big difference in braking performance.
The rotors off the JZA80 four pot caliper series Supra, a DBA4718, maybe easiest to adapt. They are 323mm dia (ST205--315mm), 30mm thick (ST205--32mm) but not as high overall 50mm as opposed to the ST205 at 59mm.
or) If you are building an all out track car I'd look for a complete Brembo or Alcon or one of those Japanese rotor and caliper kits.

Rodger
