Are you serious?
You have the TPS disconnected and you're asking if there's anything you should check?
Is there any (real) reason why it's not plugged in?
Hey guys, got the 7m fired up tonight and it's throwing error code 51 which i believe is a no TPS signal?
The only thing we have done with the TPS is had it unplugged, it never threw this code before the HG repair...
Does anyone know of anything i can check?
The other thing is when we adjust the CPS the revs rise quite rapidly from 650rpm to about 2000rpm automaticly...Is this normal for adjusting timing?

Oh, sorry..
Find the pins on the ECU for the TPS and check that the resistance sweeps properly, and that IDL connects to E2 when the throttle is shut.
It's possible that a pin became dislodged, but it depends on how deteriorated everything is. Normally you would expect a better connection after replugging.
