Question Headgasket 7m-ge where to go in Sydney?

Where to go for engine rebuild for a 7m-ge to replace head gasket?

    I'm in Sydney, NSW.

Also... should i get bother getting aftermarket cometic headgaskets? Or just stick with a Toyota one, since its non-turbo.

What parts are needed to do all this work?

7MGE will be fine with a standard gasket, just get it re-torqued more than the original toyota spec. Something like 70 should be fine.

I changed a head gasket a little while back.
    (1) retorque the head after about 600k as you will find the torques will drop off quite a lot.
    (2) I found the welsh plug behind the starter motor was leaking. Change the all the plugs and fit brass ones from Repco. 3 to 4 dollars each.
    (3) put a new set of brushes in the starter motor as its far easier to reach the starter and welsh plugs with the head off.

Theres a guy in Villawood whos heaps experienced with 7m's. Reckons he found a way for the head to last.

His on Miller St same Block of units as Candyman just after the train tracks.
