    Default 4AC Removing the HEad

Ok so i'm replacing the Head on my 4AC, don't ask why but trust me that is has to be done, now i removed the timing covers, the belt, the Carby, the fuel rail, detached the section of the exhaust so just the headers are still attached, disconnected all atttached hoses and lines and the 9 bolts from under the rocker cover, now as far as i can tell it should now just lift off, i expected it to be stuck on good but either it's ten times heavier than the head off a 3S-GE or it's stuck down like a real bitch OR there's something else i have to remove, any ideas what i'm missing here?

Theres 10 head bolts. Coolant lines also run into the head, and theres probably a brace between the back of the inlet manifold and the block.

Assuming all 4a engines run the same blocks (or close to) there will be 10. Probably need to remove the cam to get to it.

Just a q, if you only need a runner, search the ae86 forums for spare 4ac's. They typically go for zero dollars.
Hell, I have one in my shed you can take sans a few small parts.

ok so the reason i need a new head is that the three tappet bolts that hold the Cam down and your rocker cover down won't sit securely, during removal to replace the Cam gear that shattered, somehow the threads they go into got all screwy and they just keep turning and not tightening anything down, tried re-threading them and they popped out causing the arm above the cam (the thing with the rocker arms on it) to snap so rather than doing it again, replacing parts and taking the risk again, the old man just wants to replace the whole head.
