Re-drilling rear axle hubs is not legal in Vic, but is in all other states I am told.

EDIT: Not sure about FWD style hubs.

true GTR rims are 8" (r32) and light as buggary by comparison to most rims.

Has this dude checked that the offset will be fine? i seriously doubt it will be unless he wants flairs on it.

and say hello to a car with heaps of scrub radius not to mention the other problems,

cheap wheels will = shithouse handling me thinks, but hey they're cheap

Yeah pretty sure they won't fit being ET+30 and 8 inches wide where the stock are what, 6 inch wide and ET+40?
But as you well know, you just can't convince some people...

ahh thats true.. 6.5 isn't exactly GTR, but they call it that cos it is the same style etc...

hmm, they seemed heavy to me, but i guess that depends what other rims you are lifting up at the time...

would be best to sorce new hubs or run different rims to me?

depends on how well it is done?

but i guess if there is still heaps of meat left to redrill the holes then can see why it would stuff up?

In an irs setup? or are you talking about axles from a live axle setup?

As if you could be bothered removing all hubs and redrilling them for the sake of some cheap wheels. I dont care who you are but that has seriously got to be near on a full days work if not more.

Have you suggested he redrill the wheels?
