You could bolt up the original auto - it will last 20 minutes or so.
If you use any other gearbox, you'll need to modify the gearbox cross member. As for tailshaft depends on which gearbox you use.
Use a manual Corona Mk2 pedal box. You can modify an auto one I suppose - I'd consider using RT104 pedals but they may not suit. You're going to have to do the hard yards yourself there.
I also want to see a 7MGTE sitting on the ground next to your MX10 and a fuckload less SMS talk before I contribute any further.

the diff may last as long as the original gearbox will, depending on how you treat it
i belive i have all the manual parts that u require lying around off a manual Corona Mk2
the pedal box etc.. (have a look if i can soure them up for u) but if u live up penrith way
the wrecker on new line road has a manual mark 2 in his yard if i remember right.

ahh dear they have already started to neg rep u poor da12nv...
doing any form of engine conversion is a relatively expensive and consuming process.
You really should sit down and plan out this on paper first. Work out all the things you could ‘think’ you would need all the respective costs u believe are involved (then as everyone likes to chime in double it). Even though the engine will fit the same mounts its not simply ‘drop in’ turn the key and away you go. Like all fun things there is a lot of dickin around such as the funness of wiring and putting the intercooler plumbing in which with the 7mgte is a rather bitch.
While you may find certain people on this forum blunt to the point of being hostile, these are people that have done and can do these kinda conversions. The problem is lots of people blurt out their ideas of a conversion but never put much besides their daydreaming minds into practice.

look up sam's 7mgte into ma61 conversion guid. it's very detailed and a very similar same process as you will have to follow for the mx10.
Just buy motor, loom and ECU. We will guide you through it.
