    thanks guys and yes i am runing water inject and have a 50mm wastegate im just gonna try and run it this way if it works good ill leave it if not ill try and put a diffrent motor.

    cheers mate im trying my best to imprees i hope all the hard work pays off as i said i was gonna keep you updated my 11mm leads came in as well the 50mm exturnal wastegate, looking forward for this weekend to work on it.

    here is some tips ... reset dizzy to 5 drgree total, keep close to the standard timing on crank , make sure you have enough fuel delivery ... supply i race with a guy with this set in the 1980's he ran twelve's all day with methonal inject instead of water . but he kept braking diffs till he got wise........     Thanks for the tips today i got my turbo oil lines done and my screamer pipe done hopfuly get my vac lines done and should be able to turn the key after that cheers

    yes i did move over to the dark side lol. its just i have picked up a very very cheap sr20det half cut it was an deal i could not let go i was looking at a 2jz motor but this came my way and could not pass up i will post up some pics as i have already fitted up a dummy block up.cheers

    Yes, the engine made its way back into a Celica...



    ...and as you can see, we've had a few troubles with it...



    How did it go when it was in the Hilux?

    What area do you come from Dubzz? Would you be interested in coming round for a beer one night to meet the guys and maybe point out what we're doing wrong?

    i reckon its all in the carby also.. hopefully ill be buying a techedge A/F meter so we can stuff it up the celicas arse and check it out
