    Default Clutch for 20v

    hi guys my Clutch is on its way its a ae82 with 20v
    i was thinking of taking it down to wsid
    i was testing my take offs and then 1 and 2nd was slipping
    now no more wsid for now


    what clutch to get?
    how do i tell what gearbox im running to get the correct one?
    should i also get a light wight flywheel?

    You'd be running either the 200 or 212mm dia flywheel.
    It is impossible to tell from the outside.
    Yes, a lightweight flywheel such as TRD or Jun or something will give you snappier acceleration for the track.
    If you search here and on Club4AG you will find all you need to know. (except for the size of your flywheel )
    I think you will find all the earlier flywheels for 4age up until sometime in the smallport era are 200mm. Since then they are all 212. You cannot use a 4agze wheel. You will find that the 7afe flywheels are the same as the later 4age ones.

    Stock 20V silvertop clutch is identical to AE92 SX/GTi clutch.

    Should cost you no more than $200 for a full kit (clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing) from a good brake and clutch shop.
    It will be perfectly fine for your 20V.... no need for anything heavier at all.

    Apparently there are 2 different release bearings, so you may get the wrong one in your kit.
    If you have the stock silvertop flywheel, then it will be a 212mm one.

    well just take the old release bearing in with you, and problem solved!
