    Default auto flex plate to torque converter - too tight?

    i've bolted up the ae71 corrolla auto to my 20v just now and it seems like the driveplate is pushed up super hard against the torque converter in the auto...like REALLY hard. Not knowing anything about autos is this the way they are supposed to sit?

    I'm assuming they are supposed to be tight but this seems ridiculously tight?

    EDIT: torque converter wasn't seated all the way in...
