    Default ABS/Trac/Air Bag lights

Hey guys, found out in the new car (JZA80 TT) the ABS does not work. Later found out, the dodgy japs took out the bulbs in the dash, aswell as the trac light, so it looked fine until I locked up. I went to Toyota to get a diagnosis, but for some reason, couldnt get a read out, only on the engine side of things (Which was fine). What should my next step be? Also Airbag light stays on, where can I get this reset?

Yes, it has been in an accident, even tho auction papers say 4.5 grade Its not bad tho, and the repair was done well, checked out by pros.

    Cheers

I guess toyota service manual or service shop will be able to help you in this regard. And at least they were honest with you about accident. In my opinion a professionally repaired car is as good as a not damaged one.

    Good luck with that.

If ABS and TC are playing up, first place to look would be the wheel speed sensors.

Toyota should have been able to get a reading if it was just the speed sensors.
The previous owner probably disconnected them for some dori dori action.
Check for missing fuses and disconnected plugs.

With the airbag light Witzl says theres a post somewhere on lextreme that tells you how to reset it.
