Default microtech cas wiring (just to solve a debate)

cant find the answer anywhere lol so here it goes

if i wire in a microtech etc into my 3rzfe , it runs a cas , and coil packs from factory, when i wire it in, do i need resistors etc to get the right voltage for the cas to fire? or what?... and do i need to know trigger angle or will it work it out its self?

i dont fully understand the electronic side of ecu's so i may sound stupid haha, just know how to wire one in not what makes it tick..

    thanks

is the CAS a reluctor of hall effect? reluctor generates small AC signal, hall effect give a 5V square wave.. neither should need resistors? (as long as you have a 5V power supply for the hall)
you probably need to know the angle... otherwise what do you tell the ECU?

the microtech ecu comes with a seperate CAS loom. its labeled and everything. i know this cause i am working on one as we speak.

keyboard in one hand and wire strippers in the other....haha

in the microtech book, it shows you exactly which wire goes to which one on the CAS. then its just a matter of joining them (properly).

then i guess you configure the pickup type once you have the laptop plugged in. microtech usually provides a base map so you can start the engine.

Fixed for a 1jz wiring diagram anyway

you can't configure any triggering angles with a microtech thats why you order them for specific engines and wait/pay to have them changed if you put them on different engines.
Nissan ones have a few options but you don't change them.

The microtech is wired for the engine as well ie powered sensors like nissan ones get 12v and ground from the microtech CAS wires, whereas a microtech configured for variable reluctors has no power wires in the CAS loom they are all signals and grounds

never heard of using resistors for CAS on any ecu for that matter can't think why you would need them

u use reistors on the ms ecu, to change values / volts etc
