Default 18rg head gasket fire ring diameters

    Hi,

Has anyone come across a standard 18rg head gasket with a slightly larger then an acl gasket fire ring diameter?

I need it to be atleast 92mm...... If you have any 18rg head gaskets please measure them for me!

    Kindest Regards

hey jeffro dude the last set i purchased was 10/06 unit price was $105.00 + GST i normally buy them in three or fours so i have them when ever i need them. ive been doing 18RG's since the early 1990's . my 18RG is bored and stroked with 22re pistons and 16r rods with the crank stroked 3.0 mm and i only used Iwis timing chains through out, these are expensive but i find these are top quality that last . just so you know my location says i'm in NSW but i'm actualy live in brisbane Qld ...,. good stuff cliff.
    I know your car.

I used iwis timing chains all throughout my last 2tg aswell. The reason why they are so much better is because if the non split billet rollers on them rather then the split rolled type roller.

Thanks for the info. Hope to meet you and your car personally one day......

Just got off the phone to ACL in Eagle Farm. They are no longer associated with specialised gaskets.

New contact phone number for specialised gaskets (still in Eagle Farm)
    07 3212 5300

They are also less forgiving now on small runs
    They want about $100/bore

Cometic do a 92mm bore head gasket for the 18RG also.

They only list it as an 18R, but it was definitely for the 18RG when I bought mine two years back.
