    Default Brake master/booster choice.

hey guys, im deciding on what i wanna use to upgrade the brake system on my panelvan, iv worked out the rotor/disc side of it but havn't really thought about the hydraulics side of it yet. since my car never came out with a booster from factory and it will be running a 13BT ill be ditching the stock m/cylinder without question. im thinking of upgrading to a Hilux master cylinder and opting for a VH40 remote booster. where would be the best place to mount the booster so that its out of the way. if i had a boot i would most likely want to put it there but i haven't really got that option. i could possibly mount it behind the LH headlight but i don't want the engine bay to look over crowded :S.
    any input would be great.

you can use datto master cylinders they bolt up and come in just about any size.

thats what im doing, but im moving where my master sits by moddifiing the pedal box, then i can also fit the datto booster as well, what barakes are you running?

g'day VKboy , i really like your pano mate , i used to see it around thornleigh a bit many years ago ( well i think it was your one )
I have put in a 81-82 laser/meteor/323 master cylinder into my KE25 only because it was one of the only ones that had the same 2-bolt vertical flange that I could find (i have since found others, like the Datto one Hurricane metioned)
It is a 13/16 bore size compared to the 11/16 that the standard KE2#'s are , it is kinda of untested cause the cars is not running but works fine when pushing the car around .
these masters come on a booster as standard so i just used the push rod and retaining washer from the KE2# one .

Or alternatively i have a willwood master cylinder for sale if your interested , same flange as the KE2# one , 1" bore , dual circut
heres the link to my for sale thread , check it out

thanks for the replies guys, ill keep looking around, still need to do abit of research on what would be the best master/booster to use.
RO11LR im not sure where thornleigh is as im in melb but i bought the car from hornsby, if thats near? i doubt there would'v been another rotary pano around so it most likely was mine , lol.
Hurricane im using s4 RX7 4-pot calipers with 290mm DBA slotted rotors, on customised TA22 struts, changing to a ford 5 stud pattern. iv got a Luxy diff for the rear so im leaving the standard Hilux drum brakes in place. also what model of datsun are u refering too?
