7m-gte oil filter adaptor plate

hey everyone,

I'm currently getting a oil cooler for my 1j and was wondering if the 7m-gte oil filter adapter plate is the same as the 1j one, do they run the same type of oil filters etc?

The filters are different but have the same diameter and thread pitch, so you can use the same oil filter adapter.
