as a ke20 doesnt have a steering rack, i cant think of the name, but on the oposite side to the steering box there is a arm that comes off the chassis to the steering arm, and its got a bush in it.

but yes it will not be the same for the 86 as its running steering rack.

but if this ball joints were worn it would be doin a similar thing in a way.

    cheers,dan

have to be scarily worn joints!!

sounds like the issue is lack of RCAs to me.
only way to correct is with RCAs or raising ride height
you need to correct the alignment of the rack vs steering arms

I'd almost guarantee it's bump steer induced by the S13 gear, I have the same effect in my KE70 with S13 coilovers. Is there no way at all possible to run RCA's Tom86, a few guys on DC have used them and it solves most of the problem. What sort of brakes are you running?

Yeah I've tried fitting a 35mm RCA on the car and the lower control arm actually touch the disc rotor. I'm thinking of getting a smaller RCA like a 10 or 20mm one to see if that will be any better. Anyone have a 10mm or 20mm RCA and want to swap for a 35mm one?

I'm running a Hopper Stopper big brake kit with a ~280mm rotors and a PBR twin pots calipers.
