Default use AN fittings for brakes? (RACE CAR)

i am considering changing to 37* single flare and AN - 3 fittings for my brakes on my race car

    dash 3 = 3/16", which i calculate is 4.76mm. (using 25.4 = 1")

i measured the toyota hard brake lines on my car at 4.6mm with my plastic $2 vernier calipers.

i am not 100% confident in the accuracy of either (mostly the later)

can anyone confirm either the exact size of the toyota brake line, or that they have had reputable advise that this is a safe way to set up a vehicles braking system.

Talk to a brake specialist but from my experience -3 is fine....

yeah, i think its fine too. its a huge mail order place that sells it for use on car braking systems. i was just a little unsure of the hard line sizes but a mate cleared that up for me.

ok, so anyone know the thread size on the toyota calipers?

toyota should have a 10x1mm thread but double check b4 ordering.

-3 is fine and ive used it on over 20 different cars (probly more like 40 but who's counting)

    cheers
