    its located on the the back of the block above the gearbox(auto) on a st162 3sge ?

    Reverse? Looks similar to a W58 reverse switch.

    Reverse sensor will be on the outside.

    Your photo doesnt show a whole lot, and thats a very generic plug for Toyotas of that age.

    yeah sorry could it be unused as is a auto as there is already a plug very much the same connected to the box ?
