4agze ecu help

okay, i bought an engine package, i recieved everything, howeevr they gave me an grey style 4agze ecu, was wrong, so got given a yellow style one, the two smaller connectors matched up, but the last one is meant to be 26 pin, but is only 20pin ad really thin coming from the engine..? any clues, even looks like a different colour.
any help would be much appreciated

sounds like you're missing the body loom plug if the other two match up. it will need to be sourced from the donor car (or another one like it)

ahhhhhh okay, so just tell them to get a body loom plug then?

yes.
normally the engine loom comes with 2 plugs which go in the ECU and then the body loom plug is missing (i had this issue with my 4AGE 100kw conversion - took me a while to find a plug)
so ask them for the plug for the ECU on the body loom.

ahhh ok cheers ill ring em when i get outter lecture, i was certain it hadnt been chnaged as the 1)two plugs matched, and 2) the insulation looks completely stock even with foam, so its the body lookm plug thanks a bunch m8(s)

yeah the body loom plug is a separate loom... it gives the ECU power, and all the signals that come from the dash (not the engine).

ahh okay, the small plug is attachedto the engine?? (it has 20pin from the engine) dso the interior plug is 26pin? then it must have two connectors which then run to the ecu correct?

okay spoke to paul from adjap, (where i got it from) told him what you guys have said, he wants a diagram or picture of the plug, and whjere could i get it from??

i think from memory that the 4agze bodyplug and the 4age bodyplugs are the same, will have a dig later to confirm this

4AGE body plug is 12 pins (2 rows of 6)
can get from a wide body camry.
