Have you emptied the gearbox oil yet ?

Use a chisel/something to wedge between the box and driveshaft cv.
Rep points are for those who feel inadequate in other areas !

you have to fold the hubs down and remove the shafts,

will need a big pry bar/screwdriver and a hammer to pop them out of the diff,

Fidias - Assuming the FWD drive shafts are close to the same as the front st165 one, yes there is a trick.

Search google for celicatech +manuals and find a link to the service manuals for most model celica's.

I don't reccomend wedgeing something between the box and the CV.

Be careful when pulling them out that are a ripe royal prick to reassemble.

^ They are a different kettle of fish to st165 ones squiddy

passenger side needs to be popped out with a screwdriver or something like mentioned above

drivers side you need to remove the circlip on the CV carrier that is bolted to the block, then it just slides out

I'm assuming you have them free of the hubs....
