handbrake.
mine lights up under hard acceleration.
i assume its the slack cable shifting around and hitting the switch a little bit or something, havnt tried to fix it.
i need some help here. Today while i was driving (ae111), suddenly this sign (!) light pop out. Its intermitance. come, goes, come, goes. I've checked my brake fluid and engine oil. All normal. Any idea what does that sign represent off? Handbrake was ok also i dont smell any brake pad burn so most likely not brake jammed.

PJ, The handbrake light is also the brake fluid light on the Cressida. The reason it lights up on hard acceleration is that you are getting brake fluid slosh.

yup slightly low brake fluid and as it sloshes the sender will throw a low level light.
Alright guys. Tks for the feedback and reply. Perhaps i should check out the sensor condition on the brake servo. Is there any chances the servo could be leaking fluid or somewhere?
could be wheel cyls, calipers, master, lines,
just top it up for now, if the light comes back on take it to a mech for a free brake inspection.
It can also be the float in the brake master. On my parents car the float would intermittently jam up and cause the light to come on.

As the pads wear the fluid level will go down (as the cylinders are extended out more), it might be an indication that you need to change brake pads.
(BTW you shouldn't be filling up brake fluid, when you put in new pads it will (should) go up to full again, if the brake system is leaking it should be fixed. The only time that you should put brake fluid in the reservoir is when you change the fluid.)

You should change your fluid when you change your pads. Thus you should top up as the pads wear. Changing the fluid regularly greatly decreases your chances of having a master cylinder or brake calliper failure... cheap insurance really.
